Lake town for sure

you cant talk about "red state vs blue state" because most of these statistics are driven by large cities within those states. Look at these states and see how the cities drive violent crime in the state then look at the administrations of those cities. I don't think the results will surprise anyone. Saying its red state vs blue state is a little disingenuous

Yes, my state is in the top ten. I’m very vigilant - never out after dark, etc. - but it could happen any time even if alert. If I could move to a beach town, mountain town, etc. and $$ was no issue, it would definitely be a beach town. 😎

I like the small towns that are along the shore of the Chesapeake bay, during the summer some of them will triple the population on the weekends when the boat people tie up at dock bars and the seafood is usually pretty good

I'm just glad no New England state made the list, heck, none on the east coast or anywhere in the northeast made the list. Pretty good I'd say. I don't intend on retiring, I'll probably work until the day I die. If I did retire... well, I've had my fill of Florida. I'd probably stay in New England. Preferably a small river or lake town. Medical problems are mounting so a nearby hospital or clinic would be good.

The thing I got from this is big cities are violent, the state has little to do with it. Firsthand knowledge in Illinois, Missouri, Washington, Tennessee, and Oregon, if you leave the big cities the folks there look at city dwellers like sad space aliens.

Cape May has gotten busier. So beautiful though as I’ve gone my whole life. C-view is a great restaurant as that was shown in one of your pics and just a minute walk or less from an ice cream place called dry dock. Such a beautiful historic town and nice beaches.

My wife and I are Americans who have lived on the island of Cyprus for a little over 6 years now. When you quoted the rent prices in Cyprus I had to see when this video was published. Unfortunately, like other places in the world, the cost of housing has "gone through roof" on this island. Apartments that rent for less than $500/month are not even fit for refugees. Descent 1bdrm apartments begin at $700/month. We are looking at places in the Mediterranean to live. We've visited and have watched videos regarding Portugal. Unfortunately, it looks like Portugal is taking away some tax perks that made Portugal a nice choice for Americans. So it sounds like a lot of Americans are leaving Portugal now. But MAN! Love your videos, Briggs! GREAT STUFF! BRAVO!! Wish you'd take a good look at some of these Greek islands (other than Cyprus) as far as "low cost options".

Portland Oregonians don’t know what they are doing to Oregonians who don’t live in Portland . People who’s families have been in Oregon since the 1800s still live in the same counties , including the establishing families of Oregons government , cities and counties , many of whom are pilgrim families from early colonies .

Retirement: Hill Country. Grew up in Northern NM, If it wasn't for the poverty... it IS a hidden gem of beauty. The ability to speak spanish helps too. Growing up as a minority gringo is a motivation to learn just to understand what all those other kids are saying about you. As I was headed off to a school in Arizona, a friend of mine taught me a few words of Navajo. Paid off when I broke down on the Reservation. Just knowing those few words broke the Ice and got me great help in the middle of nowhere.

So there's no clear reason as to why legalizing drugs didn't work? Is it because people wouldn't stop doing drugs? Huh, it's almost like drugs are a symptom of a bigger problem in this country. Anyway, there is a huge difference between the 10th state on this list and the 1st. And I can testify to the fact that Alaska and the Bible Belt are terrible places.

We Canadians are quite friendly, just not to each other it seems lol. We’re very cut-throat to our own kind, it’s travellers & newcomers to the country that are treated like royalty. So come, come to the Alberta Rockies, explore the deep, endless woodlands of Newfoundland & Labrador, there’s Banff national park, Jasper, Lake Louise will BLOW your mind with its profound tranquility & spiritual energy radiating out. There are few more gorgeous & picturesque places ON EARTH, than Prince Edward Island. Stay out of Red Deer, tho. It’s a cursed place

Although it has gone through some hard economic challenges (like a lot of places in PA) Titusville is a beautiful little city of around 5,000+/- population. About 40 miles south of Erie, Titusville is clean, pedestrian friendly (you'll see lots of people on their lunch hours, or on a pleasant evening walking their dogs, pushing a stroller or biking), with beautiful streets and yards. There is a small community hospital, many physicians, a couple dentists, and an Emergicare facility. The schools are decent and there are numerous churches. The one issue that is troubling are drugs. Titusville is not far from Cleveland and Erie and frequently draws those who are. The police and fire departments have excellent relationships with the community. The several grocery store vary from expensive to budget. One of the biggest assets Titusville has is its beautiful setting. Winter, spring, summer and, especially fall, its natural beauty rivals that of any New England town. Oh, and Titusville is where Col Edwin Drake drilled the first oil well.

Wall is in the middle of the plains, approximately 5,000 billboards on the interstate point you to it. And one of the pictures with a pine covered hill in the background you shared looked to Deadwood, in the Black Hills lol. There are no hills near Wall. Also, Wall looks to put on a show or two. I was there when they weren't going on apparently.

I would live in a mountain town

My Grandma lived in Medford Oregon on and off during the 1970's and 1980's. She liked living there
